This week we have the honor of welcoming Max ZT, one of the most prolific innovators of the hammered dulcimer instrument. Max has developed a unique sound with this mesmerizing and curious instrument. He’s been lauded as the “Jimi Hendrix of dulcimer” by NPR and has performed with the likes of Ravi Shakar, Tinariwen, Jimmy Cliff, Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten, and so many more. His band House Of Waters — who release music on Snarky Puppy’s GroundUP Music — have been deemed “One of the most original bands on the planet,” by NY Music Daily.

This week we welcome one of the most prolific and creative drummers around, the legendary Jeff Sipe. Besides being one hell of a great drummer, Jeff is a pivotal figure within a wide variety of genres, including Southern rock, jam bands, avant-garde rock, avant-garde jazz, and even progressive bluegrass. He is a founding member of Aquarium Rescue Unit with Bruce Hampton. He was a member of Leftover Salmon and the Zambiland Orchestra, an experimental big band with members of Phish and Widespread Panic. Bottom of the Bill - 100th Episode w/ Annie Dukes LIVE !
It’s our great pleasure to celebrate our 100th episode of Bottom of the Bill Live at King Maker Brewing with the extremely talented Annie Dukes. This week we’re sitting down with the female fronted rock ‘n’ rollers for a live interview followed by their hard-hitting live performance.
