Bottom of the bill is a podcast for DIY musicians navigating the current landscape on the periphery of the major industry cities. Hosted by Anton Laplume and Billy Begley, members of Jacksonville, FL’s up and coming band, Side Hustle, the podcast features appearances from various artists, club promoters, management, agents, and venue owners to give some real insight on the industry. Add a bit of comedic relief from from Begley and Laplume’s back and forth with the occasional jam session and you have, Bottom of the Bill.

Kevin Maines is a man of many hats. He's not only the lead singer/guitarist/songwriter for roots-rock band The Volts, but he's also a producer, guitar pedal manufacturer, and runs his own printing company! We talk about his entrance into the world of music, playing guitar with the Legendary JC's, starting his own band, and eventually his transition into the tech side of the business.
