Bottom of the bill is a podcast for DIY musicians navigating the current landscape on the periphery of the major industry cities. Hosted by Anton Laplume and Billy Begley, members of Jacksonville, FL’s up and coming band, Side Hustle, the podcast features appearances from various artists, club promoters, management, agents, and venue owners to give some real insight on the industry. Add a bit of comedic relief from from Begley and Laplume’s back and forth with the occasional jam session and you have, Bottom of the Bill.

This week on the show we sat down with a few of the members of Let's Ride Brass Band! Let's Ride is the only brass band in Jacksonville (that we know of) and man do they crush! Paul Jackson, Deandre Lettsome, and Joshua Bible gave us some insight into what it's like running and being a part of a 12 piece band. From the writing process to their approaches with gigs, this band runs like a well-oiled machine. We had a blast on this one. No shortage of hilarious stories or banter either.
