Bottom of the bill is a podcast for DIY musicians navigating the current landscape on the periphery of the major industry cities. Hosted by Anton Laplume and Billy Begley, members of Jacksonville, FL’s up and coming band, Side Hustle, the podcast features appearances from various artists, club promoters, management, agents, and venue owners to give some real insight on the industry. Add a bit of comedic relief from from Begley and Laplume’s back and forth with the occasional jam session and you have, Bottom of the Bill.

Jon Ward is a multi-instrumentalist playing trumpet, keys, bass, and guitar. He toured with national act Fantasia as well as having been a go-to hired gun in the corporate, wedding, and bar scene. Jon is currently in several creative projects such as Mr. Cool, Nightcrawler, Evan Ruffino Trio, and is also releasing music under his artist name "The Winding Road".
