Bottom of the bill is a podcast for DIY musicians navigating the current landscape on the periphery of the major industry cities. Hosted by Anton Laplume and Billy Begley, members of Jacksonville, FL’s up and coming band, Side Hustle, the podcast features appearances from various artists, club promoters, management, agents, and venue owners to give some real insight on the industry. Add a bit of comedic relief from from Begley and Laplume’s back and forth with the occasional jam session and you have, Bottom of the Bill.

Welcome to Bottom of the Bill!
This week, we're joined by Jacksonville-based punk band Lifted Riffs. Their new single, “Green,” is about to be released on all platforms. Eager to ignite a movement within the punk community, guitarist/vocalist Benjamin Hudnall, bassist/vocalist JohnMichael Cone, and drummer Haydn Cone are not only making a name for themselves but also carrying the torch of nostalgia, keeping the spirit of the 90s and 2000s alive. These guys exude incredible energy and are actively supporting the local community and music scene that originally inspired them to start their own nostalgic-fueled movement, complete with catchy melodies for everyone to enjoy.
